Wi-Fi Keeps Disconnecting in Windows

Restart your router

Power your router off briefly, then turn it back on.

Update your Wi-Fi driver

Open Device Manager > Network adapters.

Find your wireless adapter and update its driver.

For the newest driver, check your laptop, motherboard, or Wi-Fi adapter manufacturer's website.

Disable Wi-Fi power saving

Open your Wi-Fi adapter properties in Device Manager.

Under Power Management, disable:

Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power

Forget the network

Remove the Wi-Fi network from Windows and reconnect.

Test another network

Connecting the PC to another wireless network can help determine whether the issue originates from Windows or your router.
