If you no longer want EXM installed on your PC, you can remove it through Windows like any other application. Uninstalling EXM will remove the app from your system and stop it from being actively used on that installation.

If you are switching setups, troubleshooting, or simply no longer need the application, follow the steps below.

How to Uninstall EXM on Windows

  1. Open the Start Menu

  2. Search for Add or remove programs

  3. Open the settings page

  4. In the app list, search for EXM

  5. Select EXM

  6. Click Uninstall

  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the removal

Alternative Method

You can also uninstall EXM by doing the following:

  1. Open Control Panel

  2. Click Programs and Features

  3. Find EXM in the installed programs list

  4. Select it

  5. Click Uninstall

  6. Follow the uninstall steps

Important Note

Uninstalling EXM removes the application itself, but it does not automatically revert tweaks or optimizations that were previously applied. If you want to undo changes made through EXM, you should use the appropriate revert option, restore a backup, or follow any recommended rollback steps before or after uninstalling.

Recommended Before Uninstalling

Before uninstalling EXM, it is a good idea to:

  • revert any tweaks you no longer want active

  • create or restore a backup if needed

  • restart your PC after uninstalling
