If you are seeing an Unable to Connect to Website error while trying to access EXM, this usually means your internet provider or network is blocking the connection.

This is not always caused by the EXM website itself. In many cases, the issue comes from your ISP, DNS, router settings, firewall, or another network-level restriction.

Why this happens

Some networks may block access to certain websites or services due to:

  • ISP filtering

  • DNS issues

  • Router security settings

  • Firewall or antivirus web protection

  • VPN or proxy conflicts

  • Temporary network outages

How to fix it

1. Try another network
Test the website on a different connection if possible.
Examples:

  • Mobile hotspot

  • Different Wi-Fi network

  • Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi

If the website works on another network, your current ISP or network is likely the cause.

2. Change your DNS servers
Your ISP’s DNS may be blocking or failing to resolve the site properly.

You can try:

  • Cloudflare DNS

    • 1.1.1.1

    • 1.0.0.1

  • Google DNS

    • 8.8.8.8

    • 8.8.4.4

After changing DNS, restart your browser and try again.

3. Restart your router
Power off your router for about 30 seconds, turn it back on, and test the website again.

4. Disable VPN, proxy, or web protection temporarily
If you are using a VPN, proxy, or antivirus with web filtering, temporarily disable it and try accessing the website again.

5. Try a different browser or device
Open the website on another browser or another device connected to the same network.

This helps confirm whether the issue is device-specific or network-related.

How to confirm it is ISP blocking

A strong sign of ISP blocking is:

  • The EXM website does not load on your normal internet

  • The EXM website works fine on a hotspot or different network

If that happens, the issue is most likely with your ISP or local network configuration.

If you still cannot access the website, contact EXM Support and include:

  • A screenshot of the error

  • Whether it works on another network

  • Your ISP name

  • Whether you are using a VPN, proxy, or custom DNS
