Bluetooth Device Won't Connect or Pair

Remove and reconnect the device

Navigate to:

Settings > Bluetooth & devices

Remove the affected Bluetooth device and pair it again.

Make sure pairing mode is enabled

Many Bluetooth devices must manually be placed into pairing mode before Windows can detect them.

Check the manufacturer's instructions for your device.

Restart Bluetooth

Turn Bluetooth off, wait several seconds, and turn it back on.

Check battery level

Low battery levels can cause Bluetooth pairing and connection problems.

Update Bluetooth drivers

Install the newest Bluetooth driver from your PC, motherboard, or wireless adapter manufacturer.

Remove old Bluetooth devices

Removing unused Bluetooth devices can help resolve connection conflicts.
